The people who decide what we need to know and when we need to know it have decided that we are now to be terribly concerned about home schooling on the grounds that abusive or neglectful parents may use the privacy afforded by home schooling to isolate their children and cover up their abuse and neglect. This may just as truly be said of ANY form of privacy. It's easier to get away with crimes in a house than in an apartment. Should this make house-dwelling families suspect?
