It is evident that life and humanity begin at the point of conception. That a human embryo could be anything other than a living human is so easily and thoroughly ruled out by logic and biology that it can be taken as given that those who say humanity begins later (at birth or shortly before), actually know better and are only saying this in order to defend a position previously arrived at for political or non-rational reasons (such as identifying authority figures with abusive or intrusive parents who deprived them of control of their bodies). Abortion is thus illegal. Legislation that prevents the states from recognizing it as a crime is based on the disingenuous stipulation that humanity begins much later than it evidently does, and is analogous to illegal Nazi German legislation that purported to legalize the killing of certain people on the grounds that they were not human. The law allows for human beings to be killed under certain special circumstances, which are sometimes used as arguments for allowing abortion, but the actual legislation is based not on these special circumstances, but upon the baseless assertion that creatures that could not properly be considered anything other that human, are nonetheless not human. This legislation is thus illegal, like similar legislation that people were sentenced to death at Nuremberg for obeying. Much of it is also illegal because it was not enacted by lawfully elected legislative bodies.

Just because the Bible says that the land of Israel belongs to the people of Israel does not neccessarily mean that it does not.
